This case involves the Employee Retirement and Income Security Act of 1974, which is commonly referred to as ERISA. The plaintiffs-appellants are the Trustees of several health and retirement trust funds under the United Mine Workers of America (UMWA) union contract which the defendant, Mrs. Bob King d/b/a King Trucking, as employer, has signed.
