Griffin appeals his jury conviction of conspiracy and mail fraud in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 371, 1341-42. The charges stem from the burning of appellant's home and his collecting the insurance proceeds. Griffin contends that the trial court erred in (1) admitting evidence regarding the adjudication of guilt and absence from trial of a coconspirator, (2) failing to grant a mistrial after an unresponsive remark of a government witness...
