Three appellants are before us as a result of their convictions arising from their involvement over several years in the illegal distribution of a huge amount of drugs by forged prescriptions. After the jury returned a guilty verdict on a multicount indictment against one of the appellants, the trial court set aside the verdict as to one count, which prompted the government's appeal.
