In this appeal from a conviction of first degree murder and a sentence of death, the principal issue is whether the evidence was sufficient to prove both that (1) defendant acted with a "specific intent to kill ... more than one person" (one of the aggravating elements in La.R.S. 14:30's definition of first degree murder which must be proved in the guilt phase) and that (2) defendant "knowingly created a risk of death... to more than one person...
