Jerry Wilms was charged with armed robbery, in violation of R.S. 14:64. He moved to suppress an inculpatory statement which he had given to police shortly after the incident. The trial court denied the motion. Wilms then pleaded guilty, reserving his right to appeal the ruling on the motion to suppress as set forth in State v. Crosby, 338 So.2d 584 (La.1976).
