On 26 October 1981 claimant filed a claim for unemployment benefits with her employer, Milliken & Company. She alleged that she quit her job as a shift manager on 14 October 1981 because of physical stress. An adjudicator determined that claimant was not disqualified for benefits under G.S. 96-14(1). This statute provides that an individual shall be disqualified if at the time his claim is filed he is "unemployed because he left work voluntarily...
