The appellee sued the appellant for alienation of the affections of his former wife, Carolyn. The appellee and Carolyn had been married seventeen years and had three minor children. The appellant and Carolyn began a clandestine affair which lasted about two years when the appellee discovered Carolyn's and appellant's relationship.
