In this cause, the Court of Appeals held that R. C. 5321.04(A)(2) imposed a duty upon the landlord to keep the stairs in a fit and habitable condition, and that the landlord was subject to liability for personal injuries for failure to repair same after reasonable notice. The case was decided before this court's decision in Thrash v. Hill (1980),
