Two formal complaints were filed by the Attorney General of the State of Colorado, charging the respondent, Anthony W. Lanza, with unprofessional conduct in violation of the Code of Professional Responsibility.

Respondent failed to answer the charges against him and, although he was served with notice of the formal hearing, he failed to appear, either in person or by attorney, to defend the accusations against him.
