On a trial to a jury the defendant was found guilty of burglary in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-101 (a) (1) and of attempted sexual assault in the first degree in violation of General Statutes §§53a-49 and 1975 Public Acts, No. 75-619 (3) (now General Statutes §53a-70).
