Defendant was convicted of the offense of statutory rape of the daughter of the woman he was living with. The alleged victim was ten years old. She was living with her mother at that time but had been staying temporarily with her father. Her parents were divorced and her father had remarried. When her mother came to her father's house to take her home the victim began crying, told her mother she did not love her, did not want to go home...
