Wesley Farris sued Smith Erectors, Inc. on written contract dated April 21, 1972. Under their agreement, Farris was to be paid $30,000.00 for unloading and erecting the structural steel for the City's Edloe Street-Bissonnet to Richmond Avenue project in accordance with specified plans and specifications. Farris alleged that after substantially performing the contract, he was wrongfully prevented from completing his work by Smith and claimed damages...
