The plaintiffs sought recovery from the defendant for breach of contract to enter into a lease. The complaint was amended by adding a second count sounding in implied contract and a third count sounding in quasi contract. After a hearing before a state referee, acting as the court, judgment was rendered for the plaintiffs on the second and third counts, allowing recovery for services rendered and materials purchased...
