This case was first heard by the Maricopa County Merit System Commission on March 28, 1971 to review appellant's termination of employment as a deputy sheriff. After a ruling adversed to him, appellant, pursuant to A.R.S. § 11-356(D) which provides for judicial review in accordance with A.R.S. § 12-901 et seq., filed a complaint in the Superior Court of Maricopa County on April 30, 1971.
