A lengthy trial was held in these consolidated actions for personal injuries of six workmen and for property damage to a petroleum storage tank and its product contents which resulted from an explosion and fire at the Hess Oil Virgin Islands Corp. ("Hess") refinery on St. Croix. On April 4, 1974, the jury returned a verdict in favor of the six personal injury plaintiffs against Chicago Bridge...
