GROVES, Justice.

The defendant was convicted of the offenses of unnatural carnal copulation and statutory rape. The prosecuting witness— a twelve year old girl at the time of trial —testified as to the acts which occurred a year and a half previously and which constituted the basis of the charges. A doctor testified that he had examined the prosecuting witness and found her condition to be consistent with a finding that she had engaged in sexual intercourse...
