This is an appeal from dismissal of a state prisoner habeas corpus petition by the United States District Court for the District of Kansas. On May 2, 1969, the district court of Johnson County, Kansas, imposed a one to five year sentence on Cox following his plea of guilty to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon (K.S.A. § 21-2611).
