Petitioner Jasko (plaintiff) was injured when she slipped and fell in respondent's (defendant's) store. The plaintiff brought an action against the defendant to recover damages for her injuries. At the close of plaintiff's case, the defendant's motion for a directed verdict and dismissal was granted. The dismissal was affirmed by the Colorado Court of Appeals, 29 Colo.App. 211, 483 P.2d 990.
