In this malpractice case the trial court granted a nonsuit in favor of the defendant physician Mansfield and the jury returned a verdict for the defendant physician Hiestand. The plaintiff appeals.

The plaintiff fell and hurt her shoulder. She went to the defendant Mansfield, a general practitioner in a small Portland suburb. He diagnosed her condition as a shoulder separation and advised that surgical repair would be necessary. He sent plaintiff...
