Defendant Ronald Maurice Stump was indicted by the grand jury of Polk County for "Murder in the First Degree as defined in sections 690.1 and 690.2 of the 1958 Code of Iowa" * * *. The indictment charged that defendant "did with malice aforethought, premeditation, deliberation and intent to kill, murder Michael Daly in Polk County, Iowa."
