The plaintiff had a verdict for $3000 which he moved to set aside as inadequate. The court denied the motion. He has appealed from the judgment, alleging error in the court's refusal to permit the filing of a substitute complaint, in rulings on the admission of evidence, in the refusal to charge as requested, and in the denial of the motion to set aside the verdict.

The defendants admitted liability and the case was tried upon the issue of damages...
