This suit was brought for infringement of United States Patent No. 2,643,813 issued on June 30, 1953 to Oscar L. Vines, assignor to Alford Cartons, Inc., the plaintiff in the District Court. The patent relates to folding cartons of cardboard of the knocked-down set-up type extensively used in food stores for the packaging of fruit, such as tomatoes and the like.
