The original bill was filed by Claude M. Rogers (appellee) against Walter M. Lindsey (appellant) and W. R. Thompson to enforce a materialman's lien. The original bill was amended a number of times so that when the case was tried, it sought to establish a statutory lien for an amount alleged by the complainant Rogers to be due for materials furnished by Rogers to Lindsey under a contract with and on the credit of Lindsey and used in the construction...
