Andrew S. Hamilton and Emma Stokes Hamilton were married in Birmingham, Alabama, on January 19, 1942. He was approximately sixty years of age at the time of the marriage and she was about fifty-five years old at that time. Both of them had been married before. Their spouses were dead.
