The defendant, Mrs. Cola Spillman Leming, charged in a bill of indictment with the murder of Mamie Furr, was tried, convicted as charged, without capital punishment, and sentenced "to the Louisiana State Penitentiary at hard labor for the remainder of her natural life." From this conviction and sentence she has appealed to this Court, and for reversal thereof, relies on thirty-six bills of exception. Thirty-four of these bills were reserved to alleged...
