Appellant Didenti, John Huggler, and Jack Esara were charged by indictment with conspiring together, and "with sundry and divers other persons to the grand jurors unknown," to violate the National Prohibition Act, by manufacturing, possessing, transporting, and selling intoxicating liquor.
