The verdict was returned June 11, and the motion for a new trial was overruled and judgment entered on the verdict, December 12, 1890. The Circuit Court gave interest on the verdict and rendered judgment for $5154.17 and costs. Plaintiff's counsel excepted to the allowance of interest and also to the refusal of the court to permit a remittitur...
