This case is before the Court from the final Order of the Circuit Court of Raleigh County, West Virginia, presumably entered on January 18, 2008,1 denying the Appellant's, Michael E. Martin's, post-trial motions and sentencing him to life without mercy after a jury convicted him of first degree murder with no recommendation of mercy. The Appellant was also sentenced to serve one to five years for his jury conviction of felony...
