¶ 1 This case is about the conversion of a helicopter when it was allowed to be used beyond the scope authorized by its owner. A managerial employee of Midwestern Helicopters, LLC (Midwestern), allowed a pilot to take a helicopter on a skydiving job after the owner of Midwestern had established a policy that commercial events required his written permission.
