¶ 1 Allen Dell Vaughn appeals the judgment entered after a jury found him guilty of attempted first-degree intentional homicide while armed for the stabbing of his mother's boyfriend. See WIS. STAT. §§ 940.01(1)(a), 939.63, & 939.32.1 The trial court sentenced him to a bifurcated sentence of thirty-five years, consisting of twenty years of initial confinement followed by fifteen years of extended supervision...
