¶1 James David Griepsma Jr. challenges imposition of the mandatory $500 victim penalty assessment (VPA) as unconstitutional under the excessive fines clauses of the Eighth Amendment to the United States Constitution and article I, section 14 of the Washington State Constitution. We affirm.
