¶ 1 Daniel Jay Perez and David Hindal were inmates at the Monroe Correctional Complex. A jury convicted Perez of attempted second degree murder and assault in the second degree of Hindal. Perez seeks reversal, arguing the admission of Hindal's out-of-court testimonial statements violated his Sixth Amendment right to confrontation.
