No. 31132-5-III.

321 P.3d 1285 (2014)

STATE of Washington, Appellant, v. Richard L. PEARSON, Respondent.

Court of Appeals of Washington, Division 3.

April 10, 2014.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

James Patrick Hagarty , Tamara Ann Hanlon , Yakima County Prosecuting Attorney's Off, Yakima, WA, for Appellant.

Richard Lamount Pearson, Cle Elum, WA, (Appearing Pro Se), for Respondent.

BROWN, J.

¶ 1 The State appeals the trial court's decision to vacate the jury's special finding that Richard L Pearson delivered a controlled substance-hydrocodone within 1,000 feet of a school bus stop. The court reasoned a school official was required to validate the bus stops. Because the admission of a map overlay showing the bus stops violated confrontation principles, we agree with the trial court and affirm.
