¶ 1 Michael Henne, a Yakima police officer, filed a complaint against the city of Yakima (City) for alleged retaliatory use of internal investigations. The trial court denied the City's anti-SLAPP1 motion to strike several claims in Mr. Henne's complaint, Mr. Henne then amended his complaint to remove the offending claims.

¶ 2 We conclude that the City is a legal entity and, therefore, could file its motion...
