¶ 1 Complete Bowling Service Company held a second-position deed of trust against Norman Giannusa's property. Complete Bowling then purchased the property at the senior lienholder's trustee's sale.1 Giannusa argues that since Complete Bowling purchased the property, it should be precluded from recovering the surplus funds from the sale.
