¶ 1 Rimov filed a complaint for damages and an equitable distribution of property accumulated during her relationship with Schultz. Schultz sought dismissal on the grounds that the complaint was barred by Washington's uniform arbitration act, chapter 7.04A RCW. The trial court denied the motion. Because the parties did not make an agreement to arbitrate, they did not trigger application of the arbitration...
