¶ 1 Joseph James Chesley appeals his convictions of first degree possession of stolen property and possession of a stolen firearm. His car was searched incident to his arrest for car prowl and his car trunk was searched under a warrant. We hold that his arrest was lawful but that the subsequent search incident to his arrest was not.
