¶ 1 This appeal follows a conviction for possession of cocaine. The defendant challenges the authority of the police to arrest and search him during an investigation of a report of domestic violence. He does so directly, for the first time on appeal, and, obliquely, as a claim of ineffective assistance of counsel.
