After arresting Wendell Armstead, Jr., the police made a video and audio recording of his custodial interview. Because the recording procedures complied strictly with RCW 9.73.090, the trial court properly denied Armstead's motion to suppress and admitted his recorded statement at trial. We also conclude that the "to convict" instruction included all elements of the charged offense and that the remaining instructions correctly...
