¶ 1 Appellant Marilea Mitchell and her boyfriend were convicted of the crime of criminal mistreatment for starving a young, undernourished boy who lived with them. The information alleged that Mitchell had "assumed the responsibility to provide to a dependent person the basic necessities of life."
