¶ 1. This case arises from a wrongful death and survival action brought by the estate and survivors of Steven Arnold. Mr. Arnold died from cancer after exposure to formaldehyde in defendant landowners' building. He collected workers' compensation benefits for this injury from his employer, Corbin & Palmer, Inc.
