Following a joint trial, defendants Lonny Campbell and Christopher Wilder were each convicted of sexual assault, aggravated sexual assault, and furnishing alcohol to a minor. Defendants challenge their aggravated sexual assault convictions, arguing that there was insufficient evidence to show that they "joined or assisted" the other's sexual assault under 13 V.S.A. § 3253(a)(2), and that the jury's verdicts are legally inconsistent.
