This appeal arises from a jury's award of compensatory and punitive damages stemming from the appellants' intentional statutory torts of racial harassment and stalking. The appellants conceded liability and therefore the narrow issue before us is whether the evidence of emotional distress alone, without any evidence of monetary damages, was sufficient to support the jury's award.
