John Carlos Bardales entered a plea agreement in which he pled guilty to a robbery he committed while he was a minor. He was sentenced to "the Department of Juvenile Justice for a determinate period as a serious juvenile offender pursuant to § 16.1-285.1... not to exceed his twenty-first (21st) birthday...
