James Lamont Madison petitions this Court for a Writ of Actual Innocence pursuant to Chapter 19.3 of Title 19.2 of the Code of Virginia. Madison claims he is innocent of abduction, robbery, and the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, for which he was convicted following a bench trial on October 1, 1997 in the Circuit Court of the City of Virginia Beach.
