Nasser Ghalambor Dezfuli ("Dezfuli") was indicted in the Fairfax County Circuit Court ("trial court") on one count of malicious wounding, in violation of Code § 18.2-51, and one count of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, in violation of Code § 18.2-53.1. Upon finding the evidence insufficient for a finding of guilt on either count, the trial court convicted Dezfuli of brandishing a firearm, in violation of Code § 18.2...
