The trial court found Christopher Brent Cooper guilty of manufacturing marijuana not for his own use, Code § 18.2-248.1(c), and for knowingly receiving a stolen shotgun, Code § 18.2-108. On appeal, Cooper argues his convictions should be overturned because (a) the court erroneously continued the trial date at the Commonwealth's request; (b) the court erred in admitting into evidence a report from the FBI's National Crime Information...
