ROTH, Judge:

¶ 1 Defendant Hussein Gedi appeals his convictions by jury for violation of a domestic violence protective order and threat of domestic violence. Gedi argues that his trial counsel rendered ineffective assistance by opening the door to testimony about Gedi's prior domestic violence conviction. We affirm.
