THORNE, Judge:

¶ 1 Robert Ferretti appeals from the district court's denial of his motion to withdraw his guilty plea to a charge of murder, a first degree felony, see generally Utah Code Ann. § 76-5-203 (Supp.2011). We reverse the district court's denial of Ferretti's motion and remand with instructions to allow Ferretti and his counsel a reasonable amount of time in which to file a written motion to withdraw and memorandum in support...
