OPINION

THORNE, Associate Presiding Judge:

¶ 1 Darrell Patrick appeals from his conviction of one count of murder, a first degree felony, see Utah Code Ann. 76-5-203 (2008).1 We affirm.

BACKGROUND

¶ 2 This case arises out of the September 3, 2004 shooting death of Shawn Scott. It is undisputed that Scott was shot by Patrick, his step-father, and that the shooting occurred in the home shared...
